Be Part of Creating a New Future

ST PAUL'S BEYOND INC

We are a Western Australian registered not-for-profit organisation that is committed to extending and supporting the work of the St Paul’s Beaconsfield community BEYOND the boundaries of the Church. We recognise that in sharing our gifts, and in distributing our wealth we can be creative of life today and in the future.

Bequests & Legacies

A bequest, or legacy, can be the most important gift you ever give. By remembering our community activities in your will, you are ensuring future generations have a foundation on which to continue the work we are already engaged in today.

Give For The Future

The institutional Church and the mainline denominations are rapidly losing their place in a secular world. Some would say that in another generation or two they will no longer have a living presence in the world.
For the past twenty years or so St Paul’s has evolved beyond the institutional model into a very much community centred and supported Church community that has remained relevant in a changing world.
St Paul’s BEYOND Inc. is a practical outworking of our commitment to the future of all that we have built on the foundations of yesterday, and it gives us an opportunity to secure our relevance into the future, and a commitment to closing the gap between rich and poor.

Why Give To
St Paul's Beyond Inc.

What we have accumulated during our life journey we often see as that which we will pass on, and for most that means to members of the family. This understanding of 'wealth' is the greatest contributor to the gap between rich & poor in the world, for those who "have" never release their abundance to those who "have-not".
By "giving" of our abundance to enable 'others' to enjoy all that we have, we close the gap, and we make a real difference in the lives of others.
By sharing in the aspirations of St Paul's BEYOND Inc. we can ensure that we continue to 'give' life to those who are in need, and those who do not have the opportunities we enjoy.

Making a Bequest to St Paul's Beyond Inc.

If you intend to make a testamentary bequest to St. Paul’s Beyond Inc. you will need to have a legally established Will.

The following is an appropriate wording for your will:
"I LEAVE to St Paul’s Beyond Inc. of Beaconsfield in the State of Western Australia for its general purposes the sum of (amount in words) from my estate. "
Note: There are other options to the above wording depending on your intentions, however, it is important to correctly nominate St Paul’s Beyond Inc. with the correct name.

c'est en mourant qu'on ressuscite à l'éternelle vie. it is in dying that one is raised to eternal life.
Prayer of Saint Francis

Bequest Examples

Eddie Vagg
+ 1920 - 2010 +
Before SPBI was established Eddie made a bequest that enabled the Church to install solar panels. Every month we receive a credit on the rectory electricity account; Eddie continues to be a contributor to the life of the community at St Paul’s and an inspiration for the development of SPBI.

Alan Albany
+ 1946 - 2012+
Alan was a founding member of the group that created SPBI; and generously made a bequest of his home unit to further the initiatives of SPBI. Alan is very much both inspiration and example as his living legacy brings to life this important initiative.
Alan’s unit will provide a foundation asset that will support the work of this community in reaching out to support others in need.

I AM the resurrection and the life’ says the Lord. Those who believe in me, even though they die, yet will they live. John 11.25
